Design documentation for refurbishment and conservation works
The Łańcut Castle is one of very few aristocratic residences that have survived the wars and preserved the original interior decorations, furnishings, and works of art. The exhibition building is a class 1 listed historic monument. The design documentation developed on the basis of the relevant studies is pertinent to the refurbishment and conservation works on the Castle. It covers, e.g.: building and reconstructing the elevation, woodwork, building and revitalising the basement, rooms on the ground floor and first floor, services and internal courtyard. Additionally, it covers water and drainage and electrical installations, ventilation and air conditioning installations in the exhibition rooms, and lighting system to illuminate a part of the Castle’s elevation and the northern elevation of the Conservatory building.
