The installation in Piłsudski Square had the shape of a circle, an ideal figure that in the city space formed a kind of pantheon. The 48 purpose-designed exhibition modules – placed on the steel structure of the circle – featured the photographs of the 96 air crash victims. All the images were placed in the alphabetical order and provided with descriptions.
The structure’s outer surface was finished with sheets of polished stainless steel that produced the mirror cladding effect, which helped to architectural form to integrate with the architecture of the surrounding square.
