2024 at Nizio Design International – a Year of Successes and Challenges

We close 2024 with great satisfaction, reflecting on numerous achievements that resulted from the hard work of the entire Nizio Design International team. This year was filled with the realization of exceptional projects, receiving prestigious awards, and participating in events that allowed us to share our experience and passion for architecture.

Projects that Transform Spaces and Inspire

In 2024, we had the pleasure of working on many extraordinary projects:

  • Holiday Cabin Complex in Wierzchowiska – a harmonious retreat blending with nature.
  • Folklore Center of the Łódź Voivodeship in Sieradz – a modern interpretation of regional tradition.
  • “Ogrody Animacji” Center in Bronów – a space fostering creativity and cultural animation.
  • Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka – showcasing Polish design and innovation on an international stage.
  • National Museum of the Holodomor-Genocide in Kyiv – a project of profound historical and emotional significance.
  • Opening exhibition at the Military Museum in Białystok and Diocesan Museum in Pelplin – unique spaces presenting history and heritage.

 

Awards and Recognitions

Our dedication has been acknowledged by the industry and the public:

  • SARP Medal “Bene Merentibus” awarded to Mirosław Nizio for outstanding achievements in architecture.
  • UP!Awards 2024 for the Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka.
  • The Interactive OKO Story and Animation Centre honoured in the “Object of the year in Aluprof systems 2024” competition

 

Memorable Events

This year, we had the opportunity to oparticipate in numerous important initiatives and anniversaries:

  • Opening of the Interactive OKO Story and Animation Center – a unique space for children and adults in Bielsko-Biała.
  • Anniversaries: 10th anniversary of the permanent exhibition at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews and 20th anniversary of the permanent exhibition at the Warsaw Rising Museum.
  • Nizio Design International featured on the AD100 2025 list, highlighting the world’s best architectural firms.
  • Design & Architecture Conference, where Mirosław Nizio shared his knowledge and experience.
  • FRIENDS 2024 Charity Dinner, co-organized by the Nizio Foundation, UTU Universum Teatru i Umysłu, and the Katarzyna Kozyra Foundation.
  • Second edition of the “Laks Ocalały” Festival – a musical feast organized by the Nizio Gallery and Stowarzyszenie Polskich Muzyków Kameralistów.
  • Exhibitions of works by Michał Szlaga and Tomasz Kawecki at the Klonn restaurant – unique encounters of art and cuisine.

We thank our partners, clients, and the entire team for their commitment, which enables us to realize such inspiring projects. 2024 was an exceptional year for us, and we are already looking forward to the challenges that 2025 will bring.
