The Interactive OKO Story and Animation Center designed by Nizio Design International was awarded a distinction in the fifth edition of the international competition Object of the Year in Aluprof Systems. The jury consisted of well-known architects and representatives of the construction industry: Maciej Franta, Karol Fiedor, Bożenna Wawrzyniak-Mańko, Elżbieta Dziubak and Zbigniew Poraj, and they were chaired by Przemo Łukasik. Nearly 230 projects from 19 countries and three continents were submitted for this year’s competition.
The Interactive OKO Story and Animation Center celebrated its grand opening in May this year. Our studio was responsible for the architectural design of the new facility, the renovation of the historic Roth Villa—protected as a heritage site—and the landscaping design.
