July 12 marks the first anniversary of the opening of the Mausoleum of the Martyrdom of Polish Villages in Michniów and the 79th anniversary of the pacification of the village of Michniów, which our project commemorates.
Several months before the opening of the Mausoleum, during the period of the most intensive work, we were visited at the construction site by Świętokrzyska Television. The head of our studio, Miroslaw Nizio, told the crew about the history, people, emotions and inspirations that influenced the shape of the architecture and permanent exhibition of this extremely important to us and award-winning project.
