On Thursday, 14 November, Mirosław Nizio participated as a speaker at the Design & Architecture Conference organized by Saint-Gobain Ecophon Poland. The event focused on the design and furnishing of restaurants and hotel spaces, bringing together architects and experts from the HoReCa sector. Among the participants were Agata Łapuchowska and Karolina Kowalik from AKA Studio, Roger Kostarczyk from AKO Architekci, Piotr Grochowski from Arche, Sylwia Kowalczyk-Gajda from Kowalczyk-Gajda Studio Projektowe, and Emanuele Dalnodar and Adam Latek.
A panel discussion titled “New Trends in Hotel Interior Design: From Personalization to Sustainability” was moderated by Adam Mazur. During this session, the founder of Nizio Design International shared insights from his work on a recreational cottage complex in Wierzchowiska. More details about this project can be found here.
In the closing segment of the conference, Mirosław Nizio presented his experiences as a restaurateur, showcasing two outstanding projects: the Zoni and Klonn restaurants. He highlighted how nature and art significantly influenced the design process. Using Klonn as an example, he explained how elements like mirrors reflecting the surrounding park and the display of photographs by contemporary Polish artists helped create a space where nature seamlessly merges with culture, giving the interior a distinctive character.
We extend our gratitude to the organizers for the invitation and commend them for an excellently curated and inspiring conference programme!
