We are delighted to announce that on January 16, 2025, our studio signed an agreement to design the permanent exhibition for the Army Museum in Białystok, which will be located at its new headquarters at Węglowa 7 in Białystok. The contract was signed on behalf of our studio by Tomasz Nowakowski, Managing Director at Nizio Design International.
The Army Museum in Białystok is an institution with a rich tradition, established in 1968. For over fifty years, it has documented and presented the history of the military and the Polish state. Its collection of nearly 20,000 items – ranging from uniforms and weapons to photographs and archival materials – serves as a vivid testament to the memory of past heroes and the complex history of northeastern Poland.
The goal of the permanent exhibition is to create a space that presents the history of Polish arms, the lives of the region’s inhabitants, and the role of the military in society in a modern and engaging way. The exhibition will highlight key historical events, such as World War I, the Polish-Soviet War, the Soviet and German occupations, and the activities of the independence underground.
We are proud to be part of this exceptional project, which will serve as a space for remembrance and education, bringing visitors closer to the military history and the human stories connected to the armed forces and the region.
With our extensive experience in designing narrative and cultural spaces, we aim to create an exhibition that is both technologically advanced and deeply rooted in history and tradition.
