From May 23 to 25, the conference “The Present of the Past in Museums and Memorial Sites” will be held in Berlin. It is organized by the Joint Polish-German and Joint Czech-German Textbook Commissions. The event will focus on the challenges related to preserving historical memory in the context of changing social conditions.
Mirosław Nizio has been invited to the panel “Between Documentation and Staging: Exhibition Strategies in Polish and German Museums and Memorial Sites.” During the discussion, he will share his experiences and insights on various strategies of commemoration through the design of museum architecture and permanent exhibitions.
