Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka Wins Special Award at UP!Awards 2024

The Polish Pavilion at EXPO 2025 in Osaka, designed by Nizio Design International, received a special award during the UP!Awards 2024 gala held on December 9 at the Kwadrat Praski in Warsaw. This prestigious recognition highlights the exceptional quality of the project, which combines a modern architectural approach with the values of sustainability and Polish identity.

UP!Awards – Celebrating Leaders of Innovation

The UP!Awards competition, organized by the editorial team of “Wprost,” honors projects that not only captivate with their aesthetics but also introduce innovative solutions addressing contemporary challenges such as environmental care and social responsibility. This year’s edition attracted a wide range of participants, including architects, interior designers, and urban planners. Their works were evaluated by a jury composed of distinguished experts.

The jury members included:

  • Marek Chrobak – President of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP),
  • Jakub Bartos – Co-owner of the Decoroom design studio,
  • Iwona Ławecka-Marczewska – Editor-in-chief of Designdoc.pl and contributor to Wprost,
  • Magda Grefkowicz and Ewa Jagalska – Editors of Dom.Wprost.

 

Nizio Design International – Vision for the Polish Pavilion

The Polish Pavilion project for EXPO 2025 reflects the unique approach of Nizio Design International to contemporary architecture. Inspired by Polish nature and culture, the pavilion serves not only as a national showcase on the international stage but also as an example of harmony between design and sustainability.
